Red Room was conceived in May of 2001 when lead guitarist A.J. Cassatt joined forces with lead vocalist / rhythm guitarist and former Millersville University vocal major, Jackie Vandercoy. After a few months, long time friend Zac Lanier joined, bringing his unique sound to the band on drums. Shortly after, Ricky Grove brought his groove to the project on bass. Red Room has a unique rock sound lead by Jackie's beautifully powerful voice. With their dynamic harmonies, a diverse driving beat, funky bass line and searing lead guitar, Red Room is definitely the place to be.

Red Room hit the Harrisburg music scene in Spring of 2002 and recorded their first EP that rapidly sold out. They are currently recording a full length CD with a projected release in the summer of 2004.

The band is playing such venues as Gullifty's, Dragonfly, Shanes City Limits, Appalachian Brewing Co., Doc Holidays, Zembies, The Cove (York) , The Whitaker Center For Science and the Arts, Speakeasy and Fergies (Philadelphia), East Village Cinema (NY Music Festival ) and the Giant Center ( Hershey ) with an upcoming date for the City of Harrisburg at the Patriot News ArtsFest.

Red Room represents the best of what the American Dream has to offer. With belief in yourself, love for your craft, drive, focus and the desire to succeed you too can watch your dreams become reality. You too can enter the Red Room.
