The Ralph Jones Band is a trio from Kentucky, U.S.A. Nathan Newbury, Jason Hibbitts, and Joe Burns make up this unique twist of rock, jazz, and country. The Band does not incorporate a bass guitar, leaving space for harmony and melody to play key roles in their songwriting. Their first record "Drowning In Kentucky" was self-released in July of 2003 on the band's label, State Bird Records. It earned them a spot at Toronto's North By Northeast in 2004. Since then R.J.B. has been hard at work recording their new album "Just For The Scenery" and playing regional shows. With this recording the band has taken on radio promotion to reach new audiences. R.J.B. showcased at South By Southwest in Austin, TX this year to furthur expose their classic sound.
