This Album has it all !!!! The good ones will always be albums to me. CD's are numbers on a disc, Albums have charisma and personality. This album has that album feel right down do the scratchy background. Somewhat like the Beatles were during SPLHCB and the White Album this album does not have the same style songs throughout. I dont' get bored listening to Angus's same old licks and start ups, although this Album has plenty of Early Rock Muscle. I'm also not ready to pull my hair out listening to
some thumping Bass for the entire lentgth of a disc like most Hip Hop/Rap, although this album has some of the best Rap I ever heard-it is actually one of my favorite cuts (and I don't like Rap!), it even has scat (and I don't mean animal droppings)-again I am not scat friendly (and neither is Kennedy) but I do like this tune. It has some real well crafted tunes like early Beatles tunes or other songs from the 60's as well. Kennedy is able to sculpt material in such a way that styles I don't even like become some of my favorite tunes.

Overall Kennedy has a great sense of time and space. He relates equally well to earlier generations with influences from early classic rock to more current styles like Hip Hop and Rap. It is not a boring Album but changes pace throughout. Kennedy also adds his own flavor and interpretaion and does a great job of blending various genres into one song. So many artists, Stones, AC/DC, ZZ Top, etc, etc have a certain sound that you know is them immediately upon hearing them and it doesn't vary much throughout the decades. Kennedy is one of those rare Performers/Artists who has the ability to shift gears within a project and not just from Album to Album.

Definately worth the price of admission!!!
