Kelly Padrick was born in Providence, Rhode Island on a cold February day back when polyester first ruled the fashion world. She started writing songs at five, and in her teens, spent much of her time learning the nuances of the music world by playing with some of Rhode Island's most seductive and seasoned musicians.

Hosting open mikes and playing gigs in downtown Providence became a favorite of Kelly's. In time, she began touring parts of New England where she enjoyed much local success.

With the desire to stretch her musical wings, she was drawn to New York City. Once she arrived, she immediately started playing a lot of the local clubs while continuing to write songs and collaborating with fellow musicians. She was also chosen to perform in the Songwriters Hall of Fame showcase.

Her latest CD, produced by Dan Wise (Joan Osborne, Maceo Parker)reflects a pop sophistication towards her guitar-driven style.

Kelly continues to play clubs in New York and is currently writing songs for an upcoming CD. Truly following her dream, Kelly is doing what she loves and is having fun. Says Kelly, "Just being able to express myself through music and having people relate is just the cherry on top!"
