Kaweh is a local artist in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. The Kaweh group performs Flamenco inspired music with a touch of Latin, Brazilian, Mediterranean & Middle Eastern. Kaweh's popularity grew rapidly after performing 133 shows during the latter half of 2004. In 2005, the group continued to mesmarize audiences at more than 200 shows and more than a dozen Art & Wine Festivals in California including the San Jose Jazz Festival. Kaweh has released three albums and is presently working on the fourth, which is due to release in June, 2006.
