Harp and Vocals: KATIE BRENNAN Electric Bass: TYLER ORR Drums: SHANE WILSON Like both of her band-mates, KATIE BRENNAN was raised in rural western Washington, where she learned to sing, play piano and harp. She grew up listening to Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash while learning to play J.S. Bach and Debussy. She began writing songs late in her training and developed a method of playing harp and singing formed around those folk-rock songs. TYLER ORR's distinctive style at the bass gives Analogue Girl's title song it's funky edge, while his melodic approach to ballads like "Back Home" gives the album a richness that leaves the listener wanting more. With SHANE WILSON on drums, Analogue Girl boasts the kind of rough and tumble chemistry usually attributed to live performances. His long history in rock-guitar playing is demonstrated by his mature approach to the drums on this EP, giving each song a familiar quality which allows the listener to hum along at first sitting.
