“Different This Time†displays Kathryn’s varied musical tastes and innovative originality. Her music draws listeners because of the familiar concepts depicted in the lyrics. She has a unique way of expressing experiences that many of us go through without reverting to the “paint-by number†type of music we sometimes here today. Her music is thoughtful, emotional, and compelling. After attempting to form various group and duet projects, Kathryn determined that the best choice for her music was to go solo. After writing an album’s worth of original songs she partnered up with Mike Ulvila (producer/musician who has played for Blake Shelton, Eddie Raven, Mark Wills and currently Danielle Peck) and together in his studio they produced “Different This Time†Kathryn’s debut album.
