From Toledo, Ohio, Carp and Sheephead capitol of the world, comes three, day-time working stiffs lettin' loose the spirit of college, party animals during the owl hours of the big 24 hour rotation. No party is too big or too small for the trio, spewing out "aggressive-folk" rock, dance and drink numbers till the bar makes them quit. Dave Carpenter (vocals/guitar), Adam Cufr (drums/vocals), and Tom Jackson (bass/vocals) develop what they call "whale music," tunes to promote good times and dramatic tail-feather shakin'. Their original tunes many times are performed and welcomed by audiences in venues which are accustomed to cover bands. Carpenter's raspy vocals and folky-like acoustic guitar work is electrified into a solid, fun rock-n-roll song to dance to, by Cufr and Jackson's tight, mega-note rhythms. Catchy lyrics about themes ranging from tramps and transvestites, to dreams and muppets make Driftwood Whale one helluva, good-time, party band. Track List: 1. Dumptruck Love 2. It's Nothing 3. Vanish 4. High School Fantasy 5. 3 Words 6. Soapbox Dreams 7. The Transvestite Song 8. Sesame St. 9. Monster 10. Object (of my affection) 11. Perfect High Other Genres:
