Don Was Born In West Virginia and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Early influences were the grand ole opry on the radio and local garage band named Tony and The Bandits (who later became The Lemon Pipers). Don joined his own group to be named The Rhode Runners and had some success on the recording market with the help of his former friend Tony Brazis (Hold On To Your Freedom) who taught Don how to play guitar and manage a band on a shoestring budget. Don took these lessons to heart and compiled his own songwriting into several cd 's . such as The Wheels , Free Fire Zone, Doin' It American Style along with "Been On The Road Too Long". You'll find Rock, Country and alittle rockabilly showing up in his style. Don also is a graphic artist and has designed all his artwork on these albums. Don Is now retired to Southwest Florida and continues to song write and graphic art for others.
