Featured in the(Sept/Oct 2005)issue of "Performing Songwriter" Magazine. Chosen as one of the "Top 12 DIY editors Picks"

Southeast Performer Magazine - Aaron is that rare and gifted musician who transcends categorical measure. Hands down, he is one of the most fascinating artists to sweep Atlanta's music scene.

Aiding & Abetting - Donn Aaron has the writing skills and he's hit upon a production style that just screams major label ... in a good way. Really, I mean it. This is one of those "oughta be huge" albums that you'll want to hear many times over.

Pensacola News Journal - With any luck and justice, you should be hearing these songs blasting out of your radio all summer.

Facts - Donn Aaron hails from Pensacola, Florida, home of UFO's and hurricanes. He is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. While still in his early teens, Donn was considered one of the premier lead guitarists on the eastern hard rock club circuit and was featured in "Guitar Player" & "Guitar World" magazines and toured the east coast for three years right out of high school. In 1991, Donn was the lead guitarist and co-songwriter for the RCA/ Silvertone recording group "Mary My Hope." Until the mid 1990's, he continued touring and recording with "Mary My Hope" and live shows during that time included opening slots for "Smashing Pumpkins" and the 2nd Lollapalooza festival. From 1994-1997, Donn was a major contributor to the acclaimed band "The Ellen James Society" whose album "The Survivors Parade" was touted by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the top ten independent releases of the year. In early 2003, Jim Beam Bourbon awarded Donn a monetary grant through their national Benefiting Emerging Artists and Musicians B.E.A.M. program. His music was chosen for the grant by a voting panel that included "Matthew Sweet" & "Pat DiNizio" (Smithereens.) In the last five years, Donn has left his fingerprints as a digital editor on over 3,000 records and has received multiple platinum and gold certification awards from the Recording Industry Association of America. In the long list of highly visible projects that he has worked with (which includes the who's who of hip hop and rap) are the likes of Ludacris (All 4 albums), Ying Yang Twins and Lil Jon, to name a few. Donn also recorded guitar with Ludacris on a track that was featured in the Martin Lawrence motion picture "National Security." His personal favorite achievement to date in the mastering/editing forum has been acting as sole editor on the 82 song boxset for the famed group "Jellyfish". Throughout the greater part of 2003 and 04, Donn Aaron has remained relatively anonymous behind the scenes in the music business while creating his most compelling and focused work to date. His forthcoming album "Unfinished Symphonies" is released in 2005 and is a powerful statement to the originality and importance of his work. Featuring mostly acoustic instruments with weighty personal lyrics, "Unfinished Symphonies" is an exquisitely arranged collection of dark acoustic folk with an art rock treatment.
