Bored by their office jobs in Marketing Research, Adam Afridi and Brian Bickel found that they shared a passion in music that stirred their souls. In July of 2005, Adam convinced Brian to buy not only a 16 track recording device with all the recording essentials, but also a gorgeous guitar from a lovely inspiring young musician who's been sent to Iraq. Playing the role of the "Devil On My Shoulder", it was Adam's convincing ("Do it! Do it!") that made this album possible. Drawing from a diverse mix of influences including Classic, Folk, and Alternative Rock as well as Jazz, Blues, Rockabilly and World Music elements, Difference Driver fuse together a unique blend of Roots Rock that is brand new, yet familiar.
