A BRIEF VIEW OF THE HUDSON
"GO NORTH TO FIND ME"

"It's not often that a band sounds like nothing you've ever heard and still sounds good. That's what you get from A Brief View of the Hudson".(-N.Y. Sun.)
They are one of New York's best kept secrets and have finally released their brand new independent album "Go North to Find Me", the first album on their upstart label North/South Records.
This unconventional indie-folk rock duo is the brain child of Texan Ann Enzminger and Canadian Nicholas Nace. Their off-kilter songs and music combine acoustic guitars, streaming riffs and voices that meld together with perfect imperfection. The result is a record that is honeyed, gritty, articulate, and oddly nostalgic for what we all know music once was while showing us what it still can be.
Since meeting in drama school and forming the band two years ago the pair have become veterans of the downtown performance scene and produce concerts ripe with remnants of performance art. They've appeared at Collective Unconcious, Rev. Jens Anti Slam, Surf Reality, Laila Lounge, Sidewalk Cafe, The Triad, Freddys, Arlenes Grocery, The Estrogenius Festival, The Cutting Room, The 2002 CMJ Festival and as the house band every Monday night for the "belly laugh funny"(-N.Y. Sun) O'Debra Twins "Show & Tell" open mic at the Bowery Poetry Club. They have also wrote original music for the off-off Broadway plays "The Expatriates" (The Kraine Theatre) and "Dummy" (The Red Room).
So don't miss your chance to check out one of the best acts you've never heard of, the self-proclaimed love child of Sonny, Cher and The Velvet Underground in all their perfect imperfection.
