FREQUENCY, and acoustic duo ABE AND AARON. ABE JR. is just Joe multi-tracking for the purposes of having material to play with friend Aaron Joella in the Bellingham, WA area. He has created four such albums and is considering boxing them up in a "vintage" package before re-recording certain songs in a more proffessional manner. He has ditched the 4-track and is now unleashing musical potential with an iMAC. Much better. And more fun. I know I'm not power-selling this recording here. It's been for sale for enough time for me to realize that I'm fishing for the rare bird of a music fan, one who won't mind a little honesty. String buzz, vocal crackle. . . The songs don't sound great, in my opinion, until you hear the whole thing, realize what it's about, feel the musical conclusion. Can't get that from a sample. What to do? I paid my $35, I'm going to write what I want. My biggest fan is a guy in Bellingham who owns The Lone Wolf Shop, (City of Subdued Excitement), also known as the Peanut Guy, for his role of dressing in a Planter's Peanut Guy costume and playing sax around town. He calls me every now and then to see how it's going. He owns all four Abe Junior albums and says he and his wife almost always have one of them in the 5-disk changer. If you like this one, you'll really like the others. They are each a little better than this one in their own way. This one is better only in immediate sound quality, which no doubt does not live up to what you're used to getting from real record companies, or even people who record on non-analog equipment. Email questions to pfrog@email.com. No website or downloads available at this time. I'm still using borrowed internet whenever and wherever I can get it, so be patient. My fans, or potential ones, are important to me. Track List: 1. Think A River 2. Okay Holmes 3. Chuck The Wahoo 4. Vapor Action 5. Great Wheel 6. Way 7. Cowboy One 8. Atomic Cities 9.
