Recliner was recorded in the fall/winter of 2003 in Aaron's North End loft. Much of the material was written during the preceding summer in a fishing cabin in upstate New York. Some of the songs stayed simple, quiet; others ended up as serious trips into psychedelia... This album illustrates the continuing maturation of Aaron's songwriting style, and also includes reworked versions of two tunes that were originally recorded on compilations in college in the late 90s.
