2 Second Pause was formed in late 2000 by Mark Shusterman(vocals, piano), Ryan Morgan(vocals, guitar), Alan Meigs(drums) and Ryan Shoup(bass guitar). In mid 2002, Meigs was replaced at drums with Eric Ten Hoeve. They offer up a unique blend of acoustic rock, folk rock, piano rock and blues. Their first EP, "Without Talking", was released in early 2002. It includes 6 tracks of pure acoustic joy. Fans of Dave Matthews, Tori Amos, Elton John, Fiona Apple, David Gray and Collective Soul may find a little bit of sweet sweet sour love in the 2 Second Pause record.
