Rising from college bars in upstate New York, moe. carved a niche for themselves with a distinct blend of Americana, playful melodic turns, exceptional songwriting, and diverse arrangements. Formed in Buffalo, NY, in 1991, the band has spent the past twelve years amassing a large and devoted following through relentless touring and the release of several acclaimed studio recordings. The band is best known for their live shows, which feature high energy jams, crowd-pleasing teasers, and impressive transitions that fans can experience only at the shows. The 12/30/03 moe. Philadelphia show was a band and fan favorite. Vibes were good at the nationally renown Electric Factory on the night before the big New Years Eve show, and many still argue it was the superior show of the Philly two night stand. The "Seat of My Pants" opener set the tone for the night of classic original jams which was highlighted by the debut of their new song, "Lost Along the Way". Things only got better on the second set with Moth transitioning into Meat, transitioning into a surprise cover of Bob Marley's Stir It Up, before transitioning right back into Meat. The second set had a song debut as well, called "Brittle End". Finally, the encore of Pink Floyd's Interstellar back into Moth was the cherry on top of a legendary show. Track List: 1.
