The ORLANDO ROCK BAND was born on the pages of the ORLANDO SENTINEL in 1991. Bob Morris, writer of Column World, sent out a plea for someone to start an Orlando Rock Band; Layla Bennett Buck met that challenge. I love music and I love these songs. I hope you do, too. I hope this music makes you feel better and helps you groove with THE DANCE OF LIFE!!! We have Wavey Davey on guitar and his good friend and ours, Christine on keybords and vocals.
This is my first album with Dave. He invited me over to his house one day to jam..something I had never done before. I have always been a working musician and never knew anyone who just 'jammed'. I didn't even know what that meant really, so after he 'jammed' a bit, I just started playing my tunes, and we 'jammed' on them. I still don't really know what jamming is...oh well.
Listening to this music can really take you to another place. Relax to it, and I guarantee you will 'lose your little mind'....drift away...how pleasant...
