THE SUBTLE REVOLUTION is an epic concept album dealing with the American urban existence. Part 1 (past and present) analyzes the angst that has grown in tandem with our freedoms. Part 2 (the future) looks at the seemingly inevitable mass conflict we face on the horizon as the gap gets wider and the environment gets more strained. The subtlety of this rebellion is the slow change that occurs in the mass psyche as the little battles play out and the true revolt happens within. URBAN WARRIOR is a 5-piece San Francisco band with anthemic vocal harmonies (female & male) and sweeping diverse melodies. UW has been described with adjectives such as - dramatic, philisophical, and futuristic. The music touches on many realms of the musical spectrum - Eastern, Latin, rock, groove, waltz, swing, techno and punk.
