The Tin Horns were born from a blend of scattered musicians who have recently surfaced on the storied map of the Twin Cities Music. In early 2004, singer/guitarist Andy Allen and singer/bassist Dan Wenz, former band mates in The Tide, hooked up with drummer B.J. Wuollet (formerly of the Stereo) and guitarist Casey Nelson (formerly of End Transmission) and the fusion of old friends and talented musicians was forged. The band's debut album, Tin Horns Present: The Champions of Victory, was independently released in February. It is a mature collaboration; an album of disparate and distinct indie rock, with Allen and Wenz trading on vocals or doubling up with offsetting melodies and random all-group harmonies. The guitar work and percussion cruise off clever and memorable arrangements full of rewarding hooks that come out of nowhere. In short, the Tin Horns are strong out of the gates with an exciting debut and are coming to a local venue near you. Track List: 1. Speak Easy 2. Big Spender 3. Ballad Of Nonsenso 4. Clay Evoled 5.
