All Genres > Rock > Emo > THE ISIDORE CHAMBER: stasis

The Isidore Chamber is: Gerald Wu (voice / guitars), Jasun Hadaway (bass),
Sebastian Lange (piano / strings), and Benjamin Cory (drums / tambourine).

Guest appearances: Jeramy Koepping (Voyager One, Sirhan Duran) plays
electric guitar on "Heliotrope". Brett Hamil (The Feral Kid) plays tenor sax
on "Marguerite". The cd was recorded and mixed by Jeramy Koepping in
Kirkland Washington, in mid-summer 2004.

These five songs are woven together by their rich vocal harmonies and
resonant force. As the piano and bass intertwine, layers of "bowie-esque"
guitars and sonorous drums create mercurial contrasts. Embellished by
somber strings and reverbed brass, this cd embraces a twilight mood.

"... lovely Tindersticks-like intensity, moody without being sullen, like a grey
Northwest autumn day."
- Dana, Three Imaginary Girls - Seattle, WA - June 2004

"Another catchy band that mixes together emo with rock for one great taste."
- Opus, owner of Coffee Messiah - Seattle, WA - January 2004
