In today's hard rock climate of cartoon-like heaviness
and lee press-on anguish, the eventide reluctantly insert
their hearts and minds into the big silly fray, taking
the layered guitar and driving rhythms of the mid 90's
post-hardcore dynamic and adding a truly big rock
sensibility.

Formed in 1995, this is an unlikely union of
four people, whom as individuals, are barely
tolerable, yet somehow within the prison-like
confines of a studio or club, manage to cancel out
or at least mask one another's low key, yet truly disturbing
personal traits.

In an age of would-be saviors and contrived revolution,
this is The Eventide.
