Emerging from New Jersey, a state that has more toxic waste dumps than any one state in the nation, The Escape Engine is more than just a band, they are an emotional evoker of driving sound in the indie/punk scene. The Escape Engine is an artistic collaboration of high energy, enthralling musicians who joined forces with intense passions for writing, creating, and performing music. By coalescing the echo of the music they grew up on, members of The Escape Engine subtlety reveal a piece of themselves in every song. Progressive guitar sounds, profound and melodic lyrics, and strong forceful rhythms permeate this powerful band. With a dynamic range that is impressive, captivating, and powerful, lead singer Dom Lettera exhibits just how consuming the music is through his energetically intoxicating stage presence. Lead guitarist George Leontaris is a staple in The Escape Engine's song writing and musical development with a surge of tainted guitars and a direct approach to exploring leads and melodies that induce a broad range of emotions. Layering the music is the crushing rhythms of Arizona transplant Kevin B. Robbins, pummeling the listener with fiery distortion and intensely paranoid strings.
