Strangeway was founded in the spring of 2002 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Guitarist and lead vocalist Walter Tolentino sought to form a band of musicians that share a common dream. Quickly finding bassist Mike Mizia and drummer Ray Jones, they set out with hopes to breathe life into an over saturated music scene.

Strangeway drew upon their influences and personal experiences to put together a rock show that thrives on their music and energy alone. The end result is a performance and sound that is powerful, edgy, and catchy; but still comes across as honest and pure. Strangeway's live shows have captured their audience's attention and created a hype that keeps people talking.

The band is currently on tour to support the release of their debut CD - Turn It On.
