Owen's Grudge is a five-piece ensemble from Scranton, Pennsylvania. Their original music is best described as "melodic hard rock," and the influences of bands like the Deftones, Cold, and Finch are moderately noticeable throughout. Since the band's inception three years ago, Owen's Grudge has perfected their musical catalog of original compositions and, accordingly, their debut EP Outcast exhibits eight solid tracks. Songs range from the pop-rock catchiness of the title track; to the guttural rage of "Abandoned;" to the fraught emotions and gentle melodies of Outcast's two acoustic tracks.

The band's name symbolizes a fictitious character (Owen), and the music of "Owen's Grudge" acts as a catalyst for all of the character's emotions and personal demons: love, hatred, loss, mediocrity, etc. As a reflection of these powerful emotions, Owen's Grudge also boasts a highly energetic and compelling live show that remains true to the musical integrity captured on Outcast.
