Inspired by the likes of David Bowie, Black Sabbath, and The Velvet Underground, The Occult Morphinas' eclectic sound has been referred to as "pharmaceutical folk", "space rock", and "gothic psychedelia." The band's emphasis is on well-crafted songs and lyrics, and an original approach to classic instrumentation. Each release has a distinctive yet cohesive sound, which is far from ordinary and mysteriously appealing.
