"..Years are meant to end..." and what a year its been for Memento Mori. This Livingston quintet burst onto the New Jersey scene in 2004, with music that you wouldn't expect from 18 year old musicians in an area long dominated by Pop-Punk. With their wistful lyrics about love, finding yourself, and heartbreak intertwined with ambient instrumentation, Memento Mori weaves together a sound that brings to mind bands such as The Appleseed Cast, Penfold, Tristeza, and American Analog Set. With 'Is One Worth the Other?', their debut DIY release, things are looking up for them, and it seems that, "In the end, this will all turn out...alright."

Due to the fact that several bands play under the name Memento Mori, and Christopher decided to take time off they have decided to change their name to (THE) AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY. You can hear their new material at www.myspace.com/amateurphotography , www.purevolume.com/amateurphotography or their website: www.amphomusic.com
