At just nineteen years of age Jay Hansen's musical talents are far beyond his years. Jay began playing guitar at the age of nine on his mother's old nylon string classical guitar. He knew immediately he had found his calling. He quickly learned to play chords and progressions while becoming more familiar with the instrument. Playing guitar eventually became a lifestyle. As he grew more familiar with his talent, Jay began performing in local coffee shops and cafes. After his first public performance he was approached by a respected member of the music industry who said, "You have something that can't be taught and it will make you a star one day". Jay has become a polished singer/songwriter, having his songs featured on Dawson's Creek, WBAB 102.3 FM, WLIR 92.7 FM and many more. He recently finished recording his major debut album with 2 Time Grammy Award Winning Producer, John Rollo which has already been licensed for use in the upcoming season of MTV REAL WORLD!
