'The sound of twine about to snap' HeartattaCk Cataract Falls was Damian Hade (vox/guitar), his sister Stacey Hade (bass), and Chris Lawhorn (vox/drums). The sound of your breath still documents, over the course of 72 minutes, their partnership. While the first 10 tracks are dominated by the corrosive, hardcore/emo sound that Damian would continue with the band Dead Letter Auction, the latter 7 are composed of field recordings, remixes, outtakes, and experiments characteristic of Chris' Ramona and Beezus output. The two split vocal duties evenly over the course of the album, and the difference in their overall styles accounts for the bulk of the tension mentioned in the HeartattaCk review.
