TwoLaneRoad twolaneroad@hotmail.com Want a fresh, new sound? "Two Lane Road" is a progressive rock band from Boulder, Colorado that produces an exhilarating sound composed of drum, bass, and acoustic guitar foundations, shimmering lead guitar parts, and uniquely-styled vocals. It is the brainchild of CU-Boulder students Mark Huebner (vocals), Adam Simon (Rhythm Guitar/Vocals), Aaron Aikin (Bass/Vocals), Ben Foster (Drums/Vocals) and Sam Cooper (Lead Guitar). The songs produce an array of sounds, ranging from soft acoustic finger picking to a higher adrenaline feel of screaming electric guitar solos and the beat of rock and roll. The band has already made appearances at several prestigious venues within its first ten months. They formed despite initial tension that arose when Huebner and Simon first met in their CU acappella group. Overcoming first impressions, they played together late one night in the CU dorms in the spring of 2002, and later began to formulate plans to recruit Foster and Aikin to expand their sound. They began writing music in the fall and recruited Cooper in the spring to put the final touch on their expanding collection of original songs. Their debut album, "Habit" was released in June, 2003, during their Midwestern summer tour. "Two Lane Road" has since returned to Colorado to continue performing and promoting their work. www.TwoLaneRoad.net Check out the artist's website: http://www.twolaneroad.net Track List: 1. Tears 2.
