Robert Page (b. Robert Bryce Page 19 October 1976, Athens, Georgia, USA) was born and raised in the musical environment of Athens, GA. As a high school student in the early 1990's, he began playing guitar and bass after being initially inspired by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Guns N Roses. With the advent of grunge and bands such as Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Blind Melon, The Stone Temple Pilots and Sound Garden he was further inspired and thus began to aspire to become a rock and roll musician. Filled with the passion and foolhardiness of an adolescent he began playing in bands, writing songs, and jamming with anyone who was willing to jam.

Towards the end of his high school career Robert traveled to Ireland where he developed a taste for Celtic music. In addition, Robert also began to take a more introspective approach that largely stemmed from his obsession with two particular albums. The first was Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks and the second was The Complete Recordings of Robert Johnson. Armed with a new arsenal of traditional Celtic music, folk rock, and blues, Robert began the long process of integrating these sounds with classic rock and grunge.

During Robert's college years he took somewhat of a break from his passion for music during which he completed his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in biology. Upon completing school Robert began writing and recording with rekindled passion. His latest work (which appears under the artist name "Triple Dubya") continues to blend traditional American and European music with rock and roll and pop to yield a unique and eclectic sound. It is also worth noting, that aside from making a mere musical statement, Robert also uses his music as a vehicle for political and social commentary as well as to tell anecdotal stories from his life.

In particular, Robert uses his latest album, Which is Smarter?, to express his frustrations and disappointments with the Bush Administration's ideological and non-analysis based policies. Hence, some of the songs on Which is Smarter? take the form of scathing political satire while others express personal concern for the overall direction that the country and world are headed in. In addition to political commentaries, Which is Smarter? also contains a number of anecdotal songs about acquaintances, friends, and life experience (to some extent these subjects are non-exclusive).

Robert is currently living in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States. However, this will change soon as he will begin pursuing his doctorate in biology in a different geographic area in August 2005.
