From the heart of the midwest comes TRIBE!! Blending various influences from folk to rock to reggae, TRIBE plays "music with a message." Incorporating improvisational jams into and around the songs, each live show takes on a new form. The songs remain the same...its the experience that's different. Formed in 1997 as a 3 piece, Tribe grew in the art of improv. The addition of the keyboards as another voice expanded and filled out the sound. Developing their sound out of the underground they emerged from the studio in October, 2000 with their first release, a 12 song CD titled, "We the People." Blending a variety of influences into their own, TRIBE plays music with a message. Though not a "Jam" band, in the live format the band plays in and around the songs making each show a unique experience, drawing the audience in as one with the band.
