Or is he? Tonight's sold out concert makes it the night for him to make it happen but a few things stand in his way. There's the doorman who hassles his girlfriends at the door. There's Quinella Barnes, his manager, who pulls Ace's old flame - the Latin singing sensation Queen of Salsoul - off the guest list in order to appease a stingy promoter, who also becomes a nagging thorn in Ace's side. Then there are all the distractions of backstage beauties, drugs for the (over)taking, and opportunities galore for wild ego trips. Our hero finds himself with just one hope, an apparitional Sweet Fairy Princess, who just may teach Ace Bandage the error of his ways... ACT 1 Ace Bandage, a has-been 80's rock star, shows up backstage ready to kick off his big comeback tour and runs into trouble with a security guard, his manager, and a deli tray. As the end of the first act closes in he resolves not to do the show. ACT 2 Tensions between Ace, his manager, and the promoter come to a head. Ace fires his manager and goes on a pill binge that takes him to the edge... Must the show go on? Track List: 1. Overture 2. Bandage, Bandage 3. All I ever wanted (The Promoter) 4.
