INSIDER is an eclectic, alternative rock band that formed in the summer of 2001. What initially began as a collaboration between singer Rob Dire and guitarist Steve O'Neill, evolved into a full line-up with the addition of bassist Nick DeSantis and drummer Dean LaVoie. Rob and Steve began writing and recording tracks for their self-titled album in late 2000, using Pro Tools in their home studio. The diverse collection of songs range from dark, heavy goth to catchy pop-rock to electronica, with melody, groove and lyrics being the most important aspects.
