His parents used to tell him over and over again that they tried for five years to have the youngest child in their family. His parents also told him that "God spent five earth years to come out with Hubert". That's why they gave him a second middle name which when translated into the English language meant "We tried hard (to have you)". And for the sake of his music and compositions, Hubert does not want to go too far with this. He is however the youngest, smartest and most talented member of a family of eight children. He is also one of the fewest who will ever tell you blankly in your face, that life is better than what you may think it is, and also tell you that the best is yet to come. Honestly speaking, the best is yet to come. He was educated at the University of Nairobi, Kenya; University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN USA; Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa -- translating into 3 college degrees in total. He is a world traveller who has visited 14 cities in Europe and more places all over the world. Creator, Founder and Owner of Hubert Temba Music (ASCAP), Msawi Universal Corporation, MMM Records and Genesis Records. Born on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro (the 9th highest mountain on earth -- 19,340 feet above sea level), Hubert began playing musical instruments at the age of six. He is a very prolific inventor, thinker, essayist, songwriter, an amazingly talented musician, multi-task, multi instrumentalist, multi genre performer and specialist. He is a guitarist, synthesizer and keyboard player, has knowledge of playing drums and other instruments, recording engineer and a publisher. He is always thinking, inventing, creating, producing, transforming the products of thinking and imagination into music, poetry, prose and other genres of literature.
