Higher Ground Band crosses the lines of music genres and has found a genuine nitch in the Christian music scene. Our original music, inspired of God, appeals to a wide range of ages. Cathie Silano - lead vocals Frank Silano - guitar, vocals Victor Martin - keyboards, guitar, vocals Blake Travis - bass Higher Ground Band is a diverse mix of Classic, Southern and Blues rock styles and is reminiscent of everything from Bad Company to Led Zeppelin and Stevie Ray Vaughan to Pink Floyd. The members of HGB come from a variety of Tampa Bay, Florida area churches. We are not allied with any particular denomination. Our musical experience comes from the Christian music industry, the Secular music industry, as well as contemporary Christian praise and worship. We have professional experience in performance and recording. We are family oriented and all engagements are considered family events.
