BIO:
HENWAE is a band that has come full circle. Veteran HENWAE fans spark anew. Virgin ears also perk as an all new, original HENWAE sound penetrates them for the first time.

HENWAE'S 'new sound' has a hard edge, yet it's refined. The mix is a careful balance of progressive and classic rock styles, blended with a hint of R&B, based on the virtuoso jamming techniques of pure original HENWAE. HENWAE'S live performance has all of the fire and fury that a hardcore HENWAE fan expects. The heart and soul performances are captured on HENWAE'S new CD right wing.

The new album/CD, right wing is what was affectionately referred to in the 70's as a concept album. The concept is Americanism. This collaboration of jammin' tunes celebrates and promotes freedom; morals and traditional American values granted by the US Constitution. They also reflect the virtue associated with being a red blooded, God fearing American. Music and themes are refreshingly original in contrast to much of the current music scene. It's plain to get a sense of HENWAE'S deep classic rock roots in these exhilarating new songs.

The new exciting line up consists of three of the four original HENWAE members,
Pete Smolcic, Rich Howard and Al Emanuele. These guys have done it all together: write, record, tour, perform live in concert with many hot national and international acts, play to sell out crowds over and over again for years, breaking attendance records for the most consecutive sell out shows in the region. HENWAE still holds the majority of those records today.

Upon the death of their lead singer, Harry Kirshner in the mid '90's, the HENWAE shell was cracked. Shortly after the remaining three original members went their separate ways.

As time heals all wounds, after a few years, Al Emanuele met up with an old acquaintance, Tim Scott. Tim is formerly of the regional super group, Smile. Al asked Tim if he would be interested in singing on a recording he was working on. Then Al found himself in need of a couple of sizzling guitar tracks. He knew just who to call, and not a minute too soon. When they all got together in the same room to listen to the finished song, it clicked! The new HENWAE was hatched!

It was truly a glorious day for kick ass rock and roll! HENWAE added bassist
Ron Grkman and keyboardist John Prucnal to the band for live performances and future HENWAE recordings. This team of crowd-pleasing professionals leaves audiences for dead ...annihilating any attempts to be subtle, reserved or inhibited. Finally, once again, the formula is right for HENWAE.
