Ava "History of Flight" is a studio band project with lead vocals sung by Rachelle Garniez, a well-known artist on the downtown New York City scene for the past few years. In a collection of 11 songs written by guitar player Andrew Morse,

Ms. Garniez touches upon a variety of moods, from the whimsical "Ganja," to the sobering "Woman in White." The album features a solid collection of musicians, mostly drawn from the New York City area, including on drums, Charley Drayton, and on keyboards Joel Diamond. Evocative of Nico, Cowboy Junkies, the Stones, Ramones, Lou Reed.
