Ava "History of Flight" is a studio band project with lead vocals sung by Rachelle Garniez, a well-known artist on the downtown New York City scene for the past few years. In a collection of 11 songs written by guitar player Andrew Morse, Ms. Garniez touches upon a variety of moods, from the whimsical "Ganja," to the sobering "Woman in White." The album features a solid collection of musicians, mostly drawn from the New York City area, including on drums, Charley Drayton, and on keyboards Joel Diamond.
