Take a hit of Wild Hell Dogs' flat-out, alcohol-tinged roots music and you'll know life in the Mississippi valley of southern Illinois.

Terrin Krantz and David Joost have been writing, recording and performing together for over twenty-five years. Their first 7" single was recorded in 1979. Since then they have written and/or performed with several Central Illinois bands, including Invisible Parrots, Buddy Dudley and Vagaband. In their most recent incarnation, Wild Hell Dogs, the boys have stripped their sound to the bone.

Their spare combination of voice, guitar, percussion, and harp (with modest piano) lay bare the raw essence of the songs. Gary Hardy, former owner of Sun Studio in Memphis, TN says, "This stuff is way beyond alternative."
