Sno Rogers is a baseball player from a small town called Noveau (nah vooh).
In this town the spirit of SNO ROGERS is reborn every summer amidst the excitement and mystery of anonymity.
Each season one player from the outside(?) innocently recreates the legend.
One summer T.R. Miller became Noveau's Sno Rogers in an effort to leave behind, if only for a short time, the routine and stress of intercollegiate athletics. The freedom of playing ball for fun had been lost. Week by week he was transformed and unknowingly became the spirit and persona of Sno Rogers, the town's "bat for hire."
Years later he would read in the towns sports page and realize that he was a part of history, naturally repeating itself. The meaning and the humor is born in the unavoidable fact that all the "bats for hire" were innocently living the life of the legend.
There is a Sno Rogers in almost every small town throughout America. We can all relate in some way. It's a simple feeling. What does any of this have to do with music? We are asking you to use your imagination a little bit and let go.... be Sno Rogers.
