SKETCHY TED is three guys from Portland who want you to have as much fun at their shows as they do. They play catchy pop rock on the alt country edge, and aim to make you dance -- or at least wiggle a little.

Frontman Barry Todd writes songs that peek over the top edge of the rose-colored glasses, but then pinch your booty so you don't take the view too seriously. Mike Nucci finds the universal uh-HUNH bass line in everything, and Tom Kilman drums so that even lawyers can find the beat. Not that he has anything against lawyers.

Rising from the ashes of such late, great bands as Thrillbilly, Nectre, Chiva Knevil, and Fun Boxx, SKETCHY TED is a collection of good musicians who've seen how the world turns, and think it's pretty funny. They've played everywhere, in all kinds of weather, and lived to tell.

"Not Now" is the culmination of their experiences so far -- songs that are smart but not sad, with funky little hooks that get stuck in your head, and an amused awareness that everything, in the end, is pretty silly.
