Electric Side Dish represents the best of the Rocky Mountain Music scene. These days bands are many, but very few provide the explosive excitement that can be found at an ESD show. The band's sound bucks the trend of the flavor of the week sound that comes from today's rock music and goes straight to the ears of and hearts of the listeners. From upbeat pop sounds with catchy musical riffs to intricate jazzy melodies, the music of Electric Side Dish captivates the audience with the common thread of storytelling. Founding member, guitarist and songwriter Phil Dudden, joined together with the bands manager and sound engineer, Benjamin Williams, from a former project. Bassist David Farley, drummer Chad McDaniel and Guitarist Jeff Hopkins soon joined the group and the completed the lineup. Phil, the band's story teller, first picked up the guitar at age five. Jeff, a graduate student in classical guitar at Denver University, provides an excellent compliment. Add the tight rythms that emerge between Chad, a fifteen-year percussion veteran and Dave a bassist schooled by one of rocks legends, and the sound is ready The members of Electric Side Dish are creating explosive original music that is guaranteed to please the crowd.
