In April of 2004, Philadelphia musicians Mike Cottrill and Dan Goldfedder were sitting in Cottrill's home project studio. The two were at a crossroad in regard to which musical project to take on next. In the studio background, Mike was playing an old demo tape of a vocalist who sounded very intense and somewhat uncharactoristic of many other male vocalists. Dan says, "Wow, who's that singing?" "That's 'The Eyes'", says Mike. 'The Eyes', or Steve Shurelian, is a west coast based singer who has worked with Cottrill for several decades. The project began to take shape when, during the following evening, 'The Eyes' knocked on Mike's front door, unannounced, and out of the blue. He had made the drive from Seattle to Philadelphia. Steve surprised everyone with his presence, as he was basically out of touch with the others for over a year. He wanted to lay down some tracks and capture some of the music he had been working on. Philadelphia bassist Rick Terway adds melodic lines to the mix to complete the project called Eggmen. Drawing on their combined influences, the Eggmen weave an intense, lyrical journey through different genres of rock music. Track List: 1. Intro 2. Ridin This Train 3. Monkey 4. Clear Blue Sky 5.
