Skyylr is what the illegitimate child of John Mayer and Jason Mraz would sound like, if influenced by Maroon 5, James Iha, and obviously Ben Folds. Although Skyylr is old enough now at 22 to stand on his own and branch out musically, he still nods toward his predecessors - John and Jason, at times. Growing up in a family listening to all sorts of different music genre tastes, Skyylr has made "The Shadow and the Light" easy to listen to for anyone in the entire neighborhood.
