3 brothers that argue a lot, 1 perfectionist violin player and a know it all lead singer make up the Denver based band Orion's Room. It sounds like chaos but for the last 4 years Orion's Room has stuck it out to build an unmatched sound in Denver. The band takes pop sensibility and massages it with Celtic rhythms then punches it in the face with tribal beats and finally as if adding a cherry on top of a "world rock mud pie" they throw in a singer that can actually sing.

Orion's Room has played hundreds shows across the West and Midwest learning to adapt to the needs of diverse crowds. In Denver they are headlining the Gothic Theater and doing shows at the Paramount Theater and the Fox Theater.

In June 2004 Orion's Room released their 2nd live album, Storyboard. It comes after the successful release and sale of their 1st live album, "The Development" and their EP release "Peppermint Sleeves." Storyboard is a collection of intense tribal influenced pop rock including a rendition of Rusted Root's most commercially successful song, "Send Me on My Way." The album has some straight pop grooves on it like "We Are What We Are" and "Skeleton" but it really favors the raw emotion of tribal or world rock.

Look for Orion's Room to release some of their most focused songwriting in the upcoming year. Last month the band got together to talk about the things it does best and it was their biggest creative breakthrough to date. "Defining one's image and style can be a powerful thing says, lead singer Lance Gilloth. After all, we can't be everything to everyone; we are what we are."

"Orion's Room mixes the unlikely combination of Celtic-influenced folk music with various aspects of '70's-era arena rock." Westword Magazine
