Omar Cooley is an up-and-coming solo artist located in Cincinnati, OH. Using only an acoustic guitar and his voice, he creates layer upon layer of interweaving harmonies and catchy melodies. On his debut CD he opens up with a showcasing of his vocal talents, using only the voice to simulate drums, bass, and harmony. He then goes into more contemporary pop/rock tunes, followed through with the Hip-Hop sounding "Bar Song," solo acoustic guitar on "One," and ending with an original arrangement of "Human Nature" as performed by Michael Jackson. "How Are You" is a ballad where he sings to friends from past times, "Flow" is a hopeful song sung about a past relationship, while "I Like It" sings about the happiness and fulfillment of a future relationship.
