NoHandle formed when five friends decided to form a unique band in order to play in an upcoming local battle of the bands. For NoHandle's very first performance they were awarded second place and continued to perform from then on. An unconventional line up of two guitars, bass, drums, sax, and 3 part harmonies immediately set them apart from most others bands. This coupled with catchy pop hooks gave them an unlikely appeal to both young and old. The kind of music that NoHandle performs s hard to describe. A blend of funk, rock, pop, jazz and latin keeps each song unpredictable, interesting, and leads to some great extended jams. While they enjoy writing complex songs, NoHandle keeps the music upbeat and danceable which makes it all the more appealing to a wide audience. NoHandle recently finished recording their CD in the summer of 2000 entitled "Quarter Past Midnight" including twelve original songs recorded at Studio L in West Virginia. CD sales have been strong and they hope that it will help increase the band's presence throughout. Check out the artist's website: http://www.nohandleband.com/ Track List: 1. Cannonball 2.
