Greg DeFuria is an artist who believes in the true heart of music, who has subjected his own personal experiences through song. His music is the pure expression of his lyrical content, which can be more or less cryptic and haunting at times.

Greg DeFuria has grown up in and around San Diego and enjoyed the local music scene in the 90's, where he was influenced by such great bands as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots. Out of repression and guilt, because rock music was "unconventional and possibly of the devil", he slowly began to express himself by picking up guitar at age 17 and writing cheezy pop songs.

He graduated college to become a pre-med major at UCSD, where he became the most miserable person on the planet, denying and avoiding the fact that music was his only outlet for true expression. He transfered from UCSD to Pepperdine in 2002 to pursue International Business, where he began getting serious about writing songs and performing. Upon graduation with a degree in 2004, Greg decided to pursue music full time, and moved to Hollywood. He has played at venues such as the Whisky A Go Go, The Knitting Factory, The Rainbow Room, Room 5, Highland Grounds, and The Sunset Room. He continues to play music where he has moved out of Hollywood to constantly tour, and do what he loves doing the most- playing music.
