Originating out of Idaho Falls, Idaho, the band 'Clean Slate' had its start in the early spring of 1999. Several of the band members formed Clean Slate from the praise team at their church in Idaho Falls. The band features an acoustic rock sound, clearly accented by their use of vocal harmonies. CS is a strong nit family of friends who have come together to share their faith in God in a fresh new way. Some of their influences include musical groups such as Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith, Phil Keaggy, and Geoff Moore (just to name a few). Clean Slate has played at a variety of local events including the Idaho Falls Street Fest, "Alive After Five," state fairs and other local concerts in the Idaho Falls area. Clean Slate has also opened for Rocketown recording artists, "Wilshire." Clean Slate is comprised of Don King, Kevin Odette, Mike & Corrie Fox, and Brian Olson. Clean Slate is currently debuting their new album, featuring all original music written my band members, Don King & Kevin Odette. Pulling from everyday experiences and their faith in God, these artists have developed a repertoire of songs that speak to those who are searching for a deeper meaning in this life. With themes of grace & mercy, perseverance, compassion, friendship and love-CS delivers a multifaceted, yet back-to-basics acoustic-rock sound.
