How many times can you break one heart before the pieces are unrecognizable, too small to be put back where they came from? If it has been broken enough, a heart can be shaped. I answer questions. I show you different ways to think about the things you thought you had figured out. I ask the questions you need to find the answers to. I tell my stories. I tell your stories, one person at a time. Every song is about someone that I care about. Every song is about a time, a place, and a person, that lives in my heart. I have poured myself into the words and music to communicate truth, connect with the world and share a positive message when I can. It is meant to be entertaining, but you can find more than entertainment in what I have created. Please listen thoughtfully to my words; they have value. My life is a crazy combination of unbelievable circumstances, paradoxes and randomness, as are my musical influences, but it all comes together in excellent acoustic pop rock. I hope you'll be able to hear in my vocals that I grew up listening to R&B and folk rock. If you listen carefully to the rhythm section, you will hear that I play percussion instruments from all over the world. I have been able to work with some great players and collaborators including some killer jazz musicians who helped me to arrange some of the tunes. I taught myself to play the guitar; I've never seen anyone play the way I do. Seasoned guitar players watch me do my thing and scratch their heads, (in a good way). I know it sounds far out... but it's not... just listen. I should also say that this album is all grown up, but still family friendly.
