ASCAP's 1998 emerging-songwriting darling, singer/songwriter/guitarist Chris Alastair is a Gen-X acoustic Pete Townshend for the new millennium, the velveteen revolutionary, the rebel with a caustic wit, the Jesus-lookalike preaching a quirky gospel of groove-laden acoustic pop/rock. The successor to Chris's sold-out debut album "Ghost in Love," "SAH SEX PLEEK" was recorded in eight days at Trackmaster Studios (Ani DiFranco, Goo Goo Dolls) in Buffalo, New York, with a full band. As usual, the genre-busting, award-winning singer/songwriter holds down the lead vocals and rhythm guitars on the disc's 11 tunes.
